CIRCUMSTANCES CREATE CERTAIN CHANCES

Circumstances create certain chances! Or so the saying goes and for someone like me who believes in second chances I've used that to my advantage to rise to not only the many challenges  I have faced racing in the past few years but also adapting to the limitations of my body !

I'll be the first to admit I was always the last to throw in the towel where physical activity is concerned but now as I reach my mid 40s and my joints aren't nearly as flexible as they was when I was knocking shapes out in the Hacienda .

A more thought out  tailored to fit approach is allowing me to not only complete but compete .

Learn to rest to allow the body time to recover from exertion!

You'll see loads of sites and steroid fuelled PT s with next installation of bullshit training for stupidly expensive rates ranting no days off from greatness  etc etc etc, most will omit the fact that A. You'll never look like them cos there airbrushed.

B.Simple genetics

C.Cause the work out there selling is simply not fit for purpose!

D Cos there on the juice and fully sponsored by the same guys out to con you of you money!

At this point don't look to me for the holy grail of workouts!

I PUT RESULTS DOWN TO 2 SIMPLE FACTORS

Clear goals and How much you want to achieve them !

P.s And I won't charge you 49.99 for that advice!

It ain't rocket Science yet , the lack of acknowledged attention to this has created the fitness empire we are presented with today.

Misinformation and pretty boys with all there toys and a shit load of Pharmacy grade powder that is more likely to give you spots on your arse than muscles !

So before you decide which direction you are looking to head with training be it aesthetic or aerobic, purpose or pleasure be sure to do your homework.

Not only surviving but thriving is the key and in a Survivalist society there are Predators on every corner looking to sell you a dream , Ideal or a whole lot of shite and turn your once pleasurable wellbeing hr and past time into a fxxxin nightmare!

Find something that makes you happy and keep it simple , avoid the mass hysteria being force fed you by the media, If you find what your doing is no longer a pleasurable pursuit or your getting injured a lot then your way of piste!

Time for a chill pill or a complete change of direction perhaps something you never done before like cycling swimming or even Golf God forbid !

Above all no matter what keep creating chances that will allow to raise your game and grow and develop as a person. Most of these skills are transferable to other areas in your life and as life is a constant challenge.

It makes sense to be well equipped
